This is the busiest time of year for us. If we are going to be able to supply enough 2 year old Leaf Mould we have to collect enormous amounts of fallen leaves each year. It is a long hard process and not for the faint hearted. There are some trying to pass off compost as Leaf Mould. Not good! You can be sure ours has been in regularly aerated piles. Not just heaps of leaves either. They have to be carefully sited so they get no sun, which will quickly destroy the live and beneficial mould. It really is a hard and difficult business. One has to be dedicated to stick with it and I actually do enjoy the whole process which is why our products are so beneficial to your plants. We keep everything live.No dead growing media like commercially packed products which have no date stamp on them Ours does not get bagged until you order it and then it is immediately posted to you. Black Friday did cause us a problem with one order. It just did not arrive and we had to set up an inquiry!Of course in this Internet age you often cannot speak to a person. It is all automated and it took weeks for the shipping company (who shall remain nameless) tov find said parcel. They must have buried it under all the Black Friday parcels that came in after it. You would think they would have safeguards against this. You would though. Wouldn't You?
It "ain't Rocket Science"to avoid that happening! Is it? Our Own Photograph above is of a Hybrid tea Rose named "Elina". Our own plant in our own garden. It is an amazing Rose with very large blooms. Yes we do mulch it with our own LeafMould or Leaf Mould!
